Having acquired a pan for making Danish filled pancakes, I quickly found the act of flipping them to be exceedingly difficult with the tools at my disposal. Metal utensils scratched the pan, plastic ones melted, skewers poked holes, and silicone scrapers proved far too clumsy. Chopsticks showed some promise, but were still too thick and awkward to hold.
Designed for less stressful flipping, these ebelskiver turners address such concerns within an attractive form factor. Made of redwood, they neither scratch nor melt, and their rounded tips provide a stable grasping surface without becoming bulky. Moreover, the staggered shape allows each of them to act as a direct extension of the user’s finger. A pair of magnets holds the turners together for storage.
