The Living + Dining study began with a week of self observation, during which I recorded everything I ate, when I ate it, and approximately how far I was from my dorm at the time. The resulting diagram represents these three variables on a single set of ‘axes.’ Illustrations reveal my preferred items throughout the day, while their radial distance from the center indicates how far I ventured to obtain them. The familiar language of an analog clock divides my day along the circumferential direction.
Largely a result of my own curiosity, Living + Dining provided the challenge of displaying three disparate sets of information simultaneously.
